Legal Aid Camp@Adur Grampanchayat, Adur
On 1st April 2026, a Legal Aid Camp was successfully organized at Adur village by Anandi Law College, Kalambe Turf Kale.
The main objective of this camp was to create legal awareness among the rural population, to educate them about their rights and duties, and to provide guidance on various legal issues. The program commenced with the inauguration of the camp through the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
During the camp, legal experts and faculty members provided guidance on women’s rights, family laws, consumer protection, free legal aid schemes, and the new criminal laws. The personal legal issues of the villagers were also addressed, and appropriate advice was given.
A large number of villagers actively participated in the camp and benefited from it. The students also contributed significantly by participating as volunteers, helping in the successful execution of the program.
Such initiatives are highly useful in creating legal awareness in society. The camp was organized under the guidance of Hon. Dr. Satish Desai and Hon. Dr. Vidya Desai. The program was coordinated by the I/C Principal Dr. Ravindra Karpe, along with Prof. Namrata Potdar, Prof. Nishigandha Patil, and Prof. Shailendra Pandit.
